Universal Serial Bus (USB)

Is a specification to establish communication between devices and a host controller (usually personal computers), developed and invented by Ajay Bhatt working in Intel.

USB Flash Drive

Its a removable flash memory device that plugs into a computer's USB port.

trackball

Is pointing device consisting of a ball held by a socket containing sensors to detect a rotation of the ball about two axes--like an upside-down mouse with an exposed protruding ball.

table pc

A computer shaped in the form of a notebook except it has the capabilities of being written on through the use of digitizing tablet technology or a touch screen.

Supercomputer

Is a computer that is at the frontline of current processing capacity, particularly speed of calculation.

software

Its a written programs or procedures or rules that's associated into a documentation pertaining to the operation of a computer system and that are stored in read/write memory.

server

A combination of hardware or software designed to provide services to clients.

scanner

Is a device that optically scans images, printed text, handwriting, or an object, and converts it to a digital image

Read-Only Memory (ROM)

memory whose contents can be accessed and read but cannot be changed.

Random Access Memory (RAM)

Its a memory that stores program and data values during operation and in which each byte of memory may be directly accessed.

Printer

Is a output device that process for reproducing text and image, typically with ink on paper using a printing press.

pointing device

An input device that allows for the free planar movement of an on-screen icon, usually an arrow.

Plug-and-Play

Is a term used to describe the characteristic of a computer bus, or device specification, which facilitates the discovery of a hardware component in a system, without the need for physical device configuration, or user intervention in resolving resource conflicts.

Is the term denoting either an exit or changes which exit a system and which activate/modify a process.

Its a electronic visual display for computers and also comprises the display device, circuitry, and an enclosures.

Is a pointing device that functions by detecting two-dimensional motion relative to its supporting surface.

A device that carries signal to encode digital information, and also demodulates such a carrier signal to decode the transmitted information.

A pocket-sized computing device, typically having a display screen with touch input or a miniature keyboard.

Is a device for recording (storing) information (data).

Is a type of printer that rapidly produces high quality text and graphics on plain paper.

Is a printed circuit board that can be inserted into an expansion slot of a computer motherboard to add additional functionality to a computer system.

Is a central part of a machinery that controls its operation, provided that a piece of machinery is complex and organized enough to contain any such unit.

Its a programmable machine that receives input, stores and manipulates data, and provides output in a useful format.

Circuit board

Its a board on which electronic components and their interconnecting circuits are mounted or etched.

Centrl Procesing Unit (CPU)

Its part of a computer that fetches, decodes and executes instructions; attached directly to the memory.

Audio Input

Is a connection jack on an electronic component that receives electronic signals from a wire, or cable, sent by another component.

Arithmetic /Logic Unit (ALU)

It is a digital circuit that shows arithmetic and logical operation in the computer instruction words.
